TIERRAS: THREE DIMENSIONAL "EARTH BEINGS" SCULPTED FROM NATURE

These figural sculptures, which I think of as "earth beings," are made from natural detritus such as bones, bird beaks, seed pods and shells which I collect, process and give another life. The embodied characters call attention to the amazing and ingenious natural forms that comprise them, often in evocative and surprising ways. The Tierras ask us to feel their energy, look more closely at nature, and lead us to a contemplative, mystic realm.

Many of the pieces are for sale. Contact me for details.
